Sugar Showdown Decorating Competition & Taste Affair

Eligibility:
- This competition is open to all residents of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis with a passion for baking and cake decorating.

Registration:
- A non-refundable registration fee of $25 XCD is required to enter the competition.
- Participants must register by the deadline set by the event organizers.

Competition Requirements:
- Participants must create a cake display with a minimum of 3 tiers.
- Participants must also create a minimum of one dozen (12) cupcakes and any other pastries or desserts that enhance their design.
- All cakes, cupcakes, and pastries must embody the theme "The Best of SKN."
- All creations must be original and authentic to St. Kitts and Nevis.
- Cakes should be assembled and completed on the day of the competition.

Submission and Presentation:
- Participants must provide sample tastings for each cake and pastry displayed for judging and audience sampling if necessary.
- Participants should prepare a creative presentation detailing the process, preparation, and reference images of their themed cake.
- A list of all ingredients used in the cakes and pastries must be provided.

Competition Agreement:
- By entering the competition, participants agree to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the event organizers.
- Participants acknowledge that they are voluntarily entering the competition and understand the terms of participation.

Prizes:
- Winner: $3,000 XCD
- First Runner-Up: $1,000 XCD
- Second Runner-Up: $500 XCD
- Additional prizes will be announced on the day of the competition.

Judging Criteria:
- Creativity and originality of the theme representation.
- Taste and quality of the cakes, cupcakes, and pastries.
- Presentation and overall display.
- The decision of the judges is final.

Additional Terms:
- Participants agree to allow the use of their creations for promotional purposes by the event organizers.
- The event organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the competition if necessary.
- Participants must comply with all health and safety regulations.
- Any breach of the terms and conditions may result in disqualification.
